Here is my 3 month old panther. I believe he is a male, ambalobe nosey cross!
Got him yesterday, have not seen him eat or drink yet though! Hopefully soon... Does he look good otherwise?
Sorry for the crummy picture, had to use my phone.
Sometimes they might not eat for the first few days.
Just have 2 crickets in the feeding cup inside the cage under a branch.
If he doesn't eat in the next day or two get back to us.
I'm sure we find some houseflys for you and he will go crazy for them.
nice set up. big for a little guy tho. itll def take some time for him to explore & get comfortable with his new home. i like the idea of keeping the cup under the branch. that way the crix wont stress him out while he still not interested. just give him lots of chances to drink.
to keep the feeder cup from getting full of water, cut out the bottom leaving about a 1/2 inch or so of the plastic. Then hot glue some wire mesh to the plastic left on the bottom, that way water can just drain right out.
