Hi guys,
I'm a new mum to a baby boy named Axel, a T. Deremensis. I believe he’s about a year old, because he still has not gotten the reddening of the lips?
He seems to be a jolly little guy the majority of the time. He’s definitely a healthy eater and can be an avid drinker when I shower him. Axel loves being held, loves coming out of his cage, and playing on the manzanita trees I have bought him from a wedding planner.
The question that I have is when it is time for him to go back into his enclosure he tends to throw mini hour long fits. He will refuse to grab onto anything in his enclosure, and cling to my hand. Once I do get him inside, he will walk back and forth dark and angrily at the foot of his cage near the door, waiting to be let out again. I am wondering if there is a problem with his enclosure or what I should do. I hate seeing him pacing back and forth like a little lion. I feel as if his enclosure is on point, I definitely did my research? Does anyone else see behavior like this?
