Hello All! I'm new to the Chameleon Forums so hopefully I will meet some new peeps. My name is Jack and I've been breeding Panthers for 3-4 years now as a hobby but thankfully i just moved and now i have a full room for my Chameleons I'm doing a double rack on 2 walls (5 females up top 5 on bottom) per wall! about 20 total. Id be happy to post pics! I'm about halfway done building my new rack, So excited. My boys stay in the living room so they can hang out with the family. Whats are some other setups people on here have? Ive built custom cages and custom racks for clients. Id like to see what others are working with!

P.s Yes i have babies available

Hi there! Welcome to the forums, its always sunny and full of energy around here. Lots of fantastic chameleon hobbiests with tons of great knowledge that they share to help! I'm glad to hear news of another breeder, Im always interested in new chams. Do me a favor and keep me updated on that, I'd love to know what you have available and see some good lookin fellas. As far as setups go, well basically my house has adapted to the chameleons. Most of them I keep in my room, screen cages with a drape between them so they don't stress about each other.....as a result of using screen only cages it feels like Florida in here. I use MistKing on a humidity control timer, and in all cages I have drainage. For that, I will take a sheet of carbon fiber, stick it in the oven for a few minutes, mold it to the shape I need, and then seal it off....in the middle I cut a hole that I cover with window screen.

Good idea with the Carbon Fiber Ive always used bus tubs or cement trays for the drainage on custom builds. Now we just have the cages tilted slightly and drain off the bottom tray right into a gutter i have attached to the front of each rack.
I don't have pictures of my full Rack yet but im going to take them soon. Glad to hear that there will be warm welcomes around. I currently work with Yellow Body Blue Bars & Red Body Blue Bars - Ambilobe, White on w hite Nosy Borahas, and I also have a white Tamative line im working on. Finally i just got a pair of breeding Falys and i plan to add more females for this project in the near future. I have Ambilobe Babies available now. Let me knwo i would be happy to add to the Great state of Florida AKA your room. Have a wonderful day and feel free to forward this on to anyone that has a room or would like to jump in on this discussion.
