New chameleon help!

Hi everyone! I'm new to the forums and I have done my research and have bought a male, 4 month old Jacksons Chameleon. I would like to know if I'm doing everything right. Feedback would be helpful.

Reptibreeze 16x16x30 inch with all mesh sides.
5.0 light with a 60 watt heat bulb on from 6:00 to 6:30.
Temperature is 65-78* with basking spot of 82*. He gets to be 3 inches from the light but I made sure the wire and air can't burn him. Drops to 65* at night.
Automatic misting system turns on every two hours for two minutes. I also mist with a hand bottle.
Humidity is 50-70% during and after misting, drops to 45% in between.
He eats 4-6 large crickets in the morning and I let him hunt them all day instead of cup feed.
I dust crickets with calcium w/o D3 on Mondays and Thursdays every week. A multivitamin once a month, and calcium w/D3 once a month.
He has two non-toxic, chameleon safe plants.
I have not tried handling.

He has been in my care since last Thursday. Does all of this look like what I should be doing? If not, please tell me.

It looks pretty good but I'm not 100% sure if him being 3 inches from the lights is okay. I am not very experienced with having montane species, but hopefully someone else with more montane experience will chime in. Everything else looks great to me though!
