New Chameleon Not Eating

We just got a new chameleon two days ago and i dont know if its just stressed but it will not eat whatsoever. We've tried crickets,mealworms,and fruits. She is just not eating, if anyone could help it would be great, also it is a veiled chameleon from petsmart. THANK YOU FOR THE HELP

It's normal for a chameleon not to eat a few days after moving due to stress. Leave her alone as much as possible, and take a look at this to make sure you've got everything set up right:

Chameleoncherma, I bought my first chameleon from Petsmart almost three weeks ago. She was 3/4 months old. She didn't eat for a few days. Then she ate well and I took her outside for some sun (in other words, unintentionally stressed her a lot) ans she st opped eating again for a few days. Last night I bought an older male, again from Petsmart, and he has been eating all day.

Was she healthy when you bought her?

Its normal for them not to eat for a few days. Continue to introduce her to food until she is ready to eat sometimes it just takes a few days. Think about it she just got ripped out of her environment and now this weird looking animal is putting her in a new environment. Gotta give time to adjust, but CONTINUE to introduce her to food, so she has it available when hungry. Good Luck

If she doesn't eat for 4+ days put in a feeder cup and if more than 7 days you should try to feed by putting a mealworm's head in its mouth while it drinks and it will eat it (you can crush its head first because it doesn't need to be alive and might slip out of finger or bite) or syringe feed it.It is normal for chameleons to not eat for 2-3 days after being put in a new cage.

jajeanpierre, do you have 2 chameleons in the same cage?They will die from stress or killing each other if snly hatchlings can be together for a short amount of time.
