So I have a veiled chameleon, I'm thinking around 7 weeks old. She(?) seemed to be doing fine for a bit, but now I'm worried about her eating.
She hasn't been able to eat a cricket in over a day because she either misses or it escapes from her. I'm worried that some of the crickets are too big for her. She doesn't trust me enough to be hand fed yet, or from a feeding tong.
I've considered doing my own cricket farm, but it would be a month or so before I had any crickets the right size for her, so what do I do in the meantime?
I also would like some tips for gut loading, and getting calcium and other vitamins on the crickets.
Also, I'm not sure if she's getting any water. I will probably get a drip system. I mist the enclosure multiple times a day, however, I don't want to spray her directly, so I avoid her area, but the water seems to disappear fast and I've never seen her drink any.
Some help would be much appreciated!
