Hi everyone! My name is Taylor and my baby ambanja chameleon will be home in about a week from today. I'm beyond excited and will be setting up my entire closure in a few days and I just had a few questions because this is my very first reptile. I've already studied and researched plenty however one of my favorite sources of information are from those of you who actually own them. So help would be very much appreciated.
1) My chameleon will be in my bedroom where it's quiet and where he won't be bothered by anyone. I have a pet hamster on the opposite side that doesn't make noise either (she sleeps all day lol) I'm hoping this does help him destress and relax the first few days in. What are some behaviors I should be expecting?
2) I'm actually taking my screen enclosure to the reptile store where I purchased it to have them build it for me. I'm not the greatest at building. How should I set up my interior? I was confused as to hearing mixed reviews on whether or not u should put a ton of items in their enclosure or keeping it simple? What do u think? I've purchased 2 medium faux ferns, 1 small vine, 1 large vine and a piece of wood that branches out like a tree.
3) When should I buy feeders prior to his
arrival? A day before or 2 days?? What's a good starter feeder?
That's all for now until next time
