I had to order some discoid roaches as my (new) beardie’s appetite is about to decimate my colony. I found this guy in with my discoids. What is he?

Ewww! You’d think living in Florida I’d know that. Although I just scream like a little girl and run away when I catch a glimpse of palmetto bugs.Palmetto Bug

Seller lives in Florida, so am doubtful it’s a dubia.I believe that he is either a juvenile dubia roach or a female dubia roach. Or perhaps both.

So now, knowing what it is I need to remove it from my bin. Oh dear sweet Jesus! I have to get close enough to scoop it out! ?? It’s too big to feed off to any of my critters and I’m too squeamish to squish it. Guess since it is a Florida native, I’ll just flick it outside as far from my house as I can.
~deep breath~ Ok, I’m going in. ~deep breath~
See I did not recognize it because I was too busy running from these when I lived in the south. Dang things fly and it is not a good thing when you have long hair and one comes in for a landing.Ok. ~shivers~ Nasty roach is out of my house and flicked out in the scrub. My fat Beastie dog protected me thru it all.
