New Home Built Stand

Today me and my buddy Danny built a new stand to hold 2, 24x24 Enclosures.

We started off with a trip to Home Depot for the supplies. All in all it ended up with a cost of about $80. Not the cheapest but it turned out pretty good we thought.

After seeing the stand that another member built on here I really liked the idea of it being an enclosed cabinet instead of just bare legs or a shelf the cages sit on.

This was a fun project. The drain works perfectly. The best part is that it only took us 6 hours to build. These chams better appreciate what we do for them....lol

Didnt mean to steal your thunder. We saw the thread and thought "we gotta do that!" I just wanted others to see how easy it was to do. If Dustin and I can do it, anyone can.

I am going to have a garage in a week. And I asked Santa for a dewalt skill saw.
I have the cordless drill, hammer.
What other tools will I need?
And im gonna brain pick til I get one done!.
Hopefully Suzi can help and we will get 4 of these made!

Haha, we totally didnt mean to do that. And hey, I am not finished either yet. I still have a bajillion holes to fill from the nail gun and then decide how to paint it.

Like Danny said, when I seen the way you did yours I wanted to do the same thing.

I really like all of the design in this stand

We talked the guy at Home Depot into cutting the ply for us at no charge. We had already figured out about what sizes the pieces needed to be, and then used a miter saw for the remainder of the cuts, a nail gun to hold it together and a staple gun to hold the pvc liner in place.

One thing we did which was a great thought from Danny was to "roll" the liner up the front, sides and back to prevent any water from ever getting to the wood. The enclosures do not actually touch the wood only the liner. This will help to prevent any moisture build up in the wood and prevent rotting and mold/mildew.
