New owner

Stop right now and take the tape out immediately. If for some/any reason his tongue gets hung up on that tape it's gonna be a terrible death. Go do it now.

Now, that the scarey part is behind you, the waterfall is cool but he needs to see the shiny drops land on the leaves. It gets him looking and he will put his tongue in the drops. It's very cool to see their pointy little tongues lick at drops even when they are still going thru the air......
Ok tape is all removed, thank you so much! I found a new method, which I'd been thinking about, sticking the separate vines underneath the screen to secure them. He loves hanging on the vines and I was so worried about it falling!! Thank you so much for the advice!!!

good job!! now you just need to remove that waterfall and you are good to go!!
Thanks so much!! I've removed all tape, have his new home set I think!! Waterfall will be gone tmrw and I'll figure out a drip system. It even looks better now :)

also take out the waterfall, it can create mold very easily and can be harmful for your cham
I use a chameleon cantina with no problems. I change out the water frequently though. My Cham drinks from it a lot. Idk it comes with a filter but still change out the water often

I think that's what I have. I've seen him drink from it once, otherwise I'm afraid he doesn't drink enough. I've moved it,, but I've been afraid of mold growing....

If you change out the water and make sure your feeders don't drown in there you will be ok. There are a few people on here that use it. I'm no expert just saying what I do and what has worked for me.

As far as drinking enough look at his urate, it should be white. If it is yellowish then he is dehydrated

I have a feeding cup I bought and he seems to know that's where the crickets are. My main concern is him drinking now.....

His urate today was brown, so I think that's good. I've gutloaded my crickets, he ate 5 crickets today. Tmrw I'll see what he does. He eats well, loves his crickets :)

Urate shouldn't be brown. His poop yes but the stuff next to it should be white

The first I saw was brown with white at the end. Today's I didn't see, it was behind that waterfall thing. I saw him do it then cleaned it up, but didn't get a look
