New parsonii project

I hope you're charging those guys room and board! You're chameleon bills must be going sky high.

He sure is a looker though!

hey garrett, if you are selling a male down the road id really be interested. i already have a sizable freerange im working on in my basement where he could live. i currently own 4 other chameleons. not sure when these are mature enough and if you are letting any go. awesome chameleons, i always wanted a parsonii or a melleri.

Garrett

That is some serious Yellow.

How are you designing your greenhouse to house the two types of Parsonii? Have all the Parsonii have line of sight with each other, or have you separated the Orange Eye's completely from the Yellow Giants, or have you arranged the enclosure to make there no line of sight for all of your Parsonii?

Wow!! I too almost decided to buy a male Yellow Giant recently. However I did not because I am mostly concerned with my Orange Eye colony.

Keep everyone posted!

Best Regards

I have a wall of baby cages in the center of the greenhouse with a vertical screen on top that blocks the view of the cages on the opposite wall. None of the animals can see each other. They've been through quarantine and treatment but I'm still keeping them separated in their own corner, I'm super paranoid about parasite nasties! All the cages and husbandry stuff is pretty much identical to the orange eyes.

I think this is an AMAZING project! Do the yellow giants come from a particular area, that does not overlap the other yellow lips and orange eyes or are they like Nosy Be and other panthers locales, where some exhibit the very identifiable traits of the locale, while others do not?

Aesethically, these aren't my favorite parsons, but for shear interest, they are my favorite. Also, how giant is giant? I understand that yellow lips are larger than orange eyes, so I am assuming these yellow Giants must attain lenths of 30-36" regularly?

I am eager to follow your progress with these awesome beasts.
