Hi savage, he is actually 16 months old!!! he is the little guy in the clutch. I have pics of his brothers and they are bigger. Was told some parsons just grow at different rates.
I can certainly attest to this, my male Parsons will consume 2 x-large dubia roaches a day while my female will consume 2 x-large dubia roaches and 2 hornworms a day, my male will often go off feed for a couple days where as my female never does. They do also get crickets, BSF larvae, butter worms and the occasional wax worm, unfortunately silkworms no longer tickle their fancy and they will not even look at them much less eat them anymore. I did just start a discoid roach colony for them seeing as they seem to have a preference for larger prey as opposed to small prey. On their monthly weigh ins the male gained 26 grams in one month and the female only gained 17 grams though she consumes more food, the female is also a few months older. Obviously yes the sex plays a role in that, but they are individuals with their own growth rates. Currently my females appetite has sky rocketed and is eat anything and everything that moves, pretty sure she is getting ready for winter.
