New pet!

I think I have to give it to @Lindasjackson! It’s an eastern American toad toad that I caught at work! I’m just temporarily keeping it until august because I’m going on a vacation at that time, and I already have one pet that I need babysitting for!😂
so when august comes around I will release Friglet(that’s his name) back out into the wild!

Here he is!💕

Ive Loved toads since I was a little girl! I had a fire belly toad back in the 90s. Kept him in the same terrarium as a few anoles and a house gecko. They all got along fine together.

I saw him jumping around at work and I just couldn’t leave him!(not that he was incapable of taking care of himself, just that he was too adorable.🤣 I was babysitting a 3 year old and I showed him the toad, and he said,”hi Friglet! That’s his name!” And since I didn’t have a name for him at the time, I just thought, what the heck, Friglet it is.

Wow, I’m surprised they got along together! It says online that toads are solitary animals, but if they got along fine together, then I’m so glad it worked out!😁
