New pics of Malachi

Here's a few pics of my veiled, Malachi. I wanted to get a few good pictures so i got him out of the cage.... mind you, this is the first time ive had him out of the cage since i got him about 3 1/2 weeks ago, so im not handling him alot, no worries
How do you guys think he looks? His colors are a bit dark in the pictures, but i believe that is just because he was scared. Am i correct on this? I'd love some feedback and your thoughts on how he is doing based on appearance.

this is an old picture of the enclosure, Ive taken out the red bulb and mounted a dome light with a regular house bulb on the wall for basking, ive also added a zebra plant and rearranged some of the vines from the pothos plant towards the top so he can hide a bit more under the leaves. Ill get an updated picture of the enclosure and post it when i get my camera back

apparently i have already posted this enclosure pic on a previous thread "getting started" but i do not now how to redirect a link to it, so im unable to post it in this thread.

Had to mess around with it, but i figured it out...
