New to the Cham Family

Hey everyone,
I've been looking into buying a chameleon for quite some time now, and i still need help. Especially with the breeds trying to find out which one fits me best. I have plenty of time to take care of it and have read about all the care they actually take. What i don't have is an excess of space, if someone knows of small chameleon breeds (perferably bright colored ones, i like strong colors ) I would really appreciate it.

If you are looking for smaller breeds, we absolutely love carpet chameleons. They are my favorite and have crazy colors. All of mine are different with different color schemes. They only grow to be about 5ish inches or so...it varies but they are a lot smaller than a normal chameleon. They are more rare and harder to find, but we are working on breeding them more. We may have some eggs hatching soon but we're still waiting on these so we don't have any to sell at the moment. They really are neat little chameleons though and don't need large cages. Otherwise, we have a ton of veiled chameleons which are nice and hardy and are very neat chameleons as well. I like the veileds as well but they are one of the most common chameleons, so that's one reason I like the carpets best =) You can message me if you have any questions...we are breeders out of Las Vegas. If you want small and colorful, go with carpets(chamaeleo lateralis, aka jewel chameleon). I'm a panther guy, so I really don't have experience with them, but I don't think they're a super tuff breed to keep, and their coloration is amazing. After I get my next couple of panther projects going, I'm actually thing of getting some carpets myself.

Carpet chams are awsome, just make sure you put in the extra money and get CB from a repitable breeder. I am a newbie cham owner but I just had to have something a little more exotic than a veiled. Also I love how small they are. They go through the most beautiful color changes, sometimes I just love to look at him, its like a lil work of art. And if you can keep the humidity up for one cham its not that hard to keep it up a lil higher for a diffrent one so don't let anyone convince you they're too hard. I love a challenge

I just acquired 2.2 carpets and love them. All 4 of them take up the space of 2 panthers and are already showing beautiful colors at 3 months. These little guys are my new favorites. I love the others but there is something about carpets that gets me.
