I'm trying to hand feed her and she's having a hard time liking me lol. She doesn't mind following me around when I sit outside of her cage but when I try to hand feed her she runs away and puffs up:confused: even hissed. I was wondering for some tips for her to get more comfortable. I'm not sure how old, her body is about 2 inches long.

Since she is new, what you really need to do is leave her alone. All you will accomplish by trying to force her to hand feed is stress her out and teach her to distrust you. She is telling you in no unclear way that she doesn't want you to be that close to her. You ought to let her acclimate for several weeks before trying again. This will give her time to settle into her new home and learn that you are not a predator who wants to harm her.

I know that hand feeding is very exciting, but it will only cause more problems if you persist too much. My panther chameleon, whom I've had for 3 months, still refuses to hand feed. Some chameleons simply never will

Thank you, and yeah I stopped trying to hand feed her. I don't want her to get stressed out.
