Newbie Has Questions

So, I'm getting a baby Panther cham on Thursday, and I have a few questions. First of all, should I mist at night? I have an exo terra monsoon rs400 and have my misting schedule set up, but I have no idea about what I should do at night. Second, when I feed him horn worms, super worms, silk worms ext. is there a different method to dusting them with calcium or a different schedule I should use? Thanks so much. Any advice is appreciated. :p

Just keep it dark. you shouldn't have any lights at night (lol what a rhyme) and I wouldn't mist at night it might interrupt his sleep

Welcome to the forum!

No, don't mist at night. The enclosure needs to dry out before lights out - you don't want him cold and wet. I run my last mist about 45 minutes before lights out. In good ol' dry Alberta, that is plenty of time.

I use the same method to dust my feeders no matter what they are (except of course for the ones I don't dust like Phoenix worms or silk worms), I have a tall protein shaker cup that they go in to. It's tall enough that nothing can jump out and wide enough that I can get my hand in there to grab things after they are coated if I need to. Use the same schedule of supplementation.

I bet you are excited - make sure to post pictures!!
