No ventilation for feeders

As in no air holes, in an airtight bin. Anyone else do this? A member here who I got some roaches from told me to do it and I've noticed for my feeders that enjoy humidity(snails, GBR, surinams, porcelains, isopods, even some hissers) it's helped a lot. Never thought about doing this before. I only open the bins about 1x a week to feed and everything seems to be thriving. Isopods, springtails, and feeders all look healthy.

I have had mine like this for over a month now, and the person that told me this said they had them that way for 2 years.

But you're right. The bins, in relation to the feeders are pretty large. My guess is that the air exchange from opening them once a week is enough, or that minimal amounts of oxygen sneak through the foam airtight layer.

Lol I don't use crickets, but if I did I wouldn't do that. They like ventilation, I only do this for my climbers and flyers that like humidity.
