Not looking for anything fancy... just a house Gecko or something for niight duty on all the escapee insects. A female would be my preference. Got Geckos?

You should be able to find house geckos in just about any petstore.
They are pretty commonly available for about 5 or 6 dollars.
They are often kept in the same enclosure with anoles.
I had three of them about a year ago that I gave to one of our friend's son.
They're doing quite well and are really easy to care for.
I'm sure they would do fine living free in your house and doing pest patrol.
Keep lids on your feeder tanks tho....they'll get in there and have a great time!

Yesterday I left the lid off of my container of crickets that I leave on the screened porch by the pool. When I went out to feed my turtles I noticed the lid was off and sitting on the egg carton stuff was a very FAT and happy anole! He had eaten so much he could barely move!

FAT anole story.... good one! lol
Well... I had the tangerine gecko breeder rip me a new one for even thinking of letting a gecko loose in the house. Called me irresponsible. Actually, what I had planned, to avoid any accidental "foot meets gecko," was to makeshift enclosure in the bottom cupboard area near the water supply and put down gutload.Let them dine and attract the gecko ....... My point being.... She was very much against letting a gecko patrol the whole apartment.
