Normal for 4 mo Panther to be so small?

I wouldn't say it is normal but it most certainly can happen. Every chameleon will grow up differently even if kept in the exact same environment. So she might just be a bit of a late bloomer or she might just be smaller in size. As long as her husbandry was correct from birth and she is healthy I wouldn't worry too much about her being on the smaller side.

It's a male

Kelsey can you take a few more pictures that would show the base of the tail? From the ones you posted it is hard to see so I assumed female. If you have some more pictures it would help confirm male vs female

Also, do you mind me asking where you purchased him/her from? Did the breeder give an exact age?
I purchased from the Chameleon Company. Yes I received an exact date of birth. He just turned 4 months on the 6th. Just finished his 3rd shed less than a week ago. I got him at 3 weeks of age.

Yes I'm positive. I purchased from the Chameleon company and requested a male.

Seems like members here get sent the wrong sex from time to time. I see this often with Panthers as they are more difficult to sex at a young age.

Just because you were told you were getting a male, doesn't mean that there could have been a mistake made.

If you post the requested pictures, there are many "Panther experts" in here that will give you an accurate answer.

I don't have experience with Panthers, so all I could offer would be a guess based on what I have read and seen in pictures on this forum. I know @alphakenc breeds panthers and could probably help, as well as many other members. Ken just came to mind as we have recently talked about all his babies...

I feel you may have a female as well.

I will more likely to trust ur breeder judgement, since they can usually compare the males n females side by side, especially the Chameleon Company is been in business for a long time....it happen to one of my customer's cham also...
Here is Cypress

This is him now....
So if ur breeder think is a "she" I will probably listen to the breeder....since u are always going to work with ur breeder no one else other than causing more of the confusion.
And personally I think the female is more important than the male from a breeder's point of the view, the female is the one will carry all those eggs n produce the next generation :)
