Hey,
So I keep reading about how much all of your chams eat, and how you have taught them to hand feed, or at least be able to see them eat. However my cham doesnt seem to eat as much. I would say he eats maybe 8-9 crickets a day. I have tried to hand feed him, but he never seems interested. Anf further he never seems to want to eat if I am watching, I have only actually witnessed her eat one crickets since I have gotten her. I am assuimg she is eat because the crickets I out in disapear throughout the day. Is this normal behavior, do they normaly not like to be watched when the eat? Any tips to getting them to hand feed?

You said "he" sometimes in your post and "her" other times....which is it?
How old is she/he?
What size crickets are you feeding her/him?
What is the basking temperature?

Sorry bout that, its a she, her name is lia. I have thought it was a male for a while, and I just found out it is a girl, so I am getting used to calling her a her. I giver her small crickets, and the basking temp is in the mid to low 90s.

I have read that some chameleons just down right hate their owners lol,i dont mean to sound mean but its the truth,so maybe she enjoys being alone without you in the room.
