Hi all

sorry to add to not eating threads. I ahve read two recently and one which seems to fit. 10 month old Panther hasnt eaten much over last 3 weeks. i was re assurred to read that at this age might not be too unusual. However all he will eat at the moment is waxworms. I am not offereing those often in the hope that he will go back to other feeders which i am removing every day as not consumed.

Im hoping its the age thing. however two questions

1. What will this do in terms of calcium and supplements in gebneral as he is getting them much less frequently than when he ate normally
2. Diet must now be poor as he is not eating gutloaded insects.

advice please

Could just be due to age, but you mentioned that the only thing he's eating is waxworms. Stop offering him those, since he might be going through the "you gave me this and it tastes better so now I don't want anything else but this" phase. Instead, introduce him to other feeder insects and keep a constant supply of crickets. Calcium and vitamin dust any food he eats until he resumes his normal schedule.

Recheck the temperatures in your enclosure. If you are running your heat less or AC more because of the season change you cage temps may have been affected.
