Not eating..

My cham is not eating these bugs. So can you help me how can I make him eat them? He likes crickets but seller does not have them right now. Now he only wants to eat mealworms but I dont know if thats enough because I heard mealworms are only just like candy for them they are not especially healthy.. So what should I do?

A) Imo, meal worms are useless, they have no nutritional value and are hard to digest in some chams.

Stop giving mealworms. How much has he been eating lately? Is he having a lack of appetite, or just decided he only likes mealworms instead of roaches?

He has a huge appetite but he only likes mealworms and crickets but I dont have crickets right now..

try superworms, theyre better for him. stop giving him mealworms

Okay cut mealworms out of his diet completely. Persist with feeding what healthy feeders you have. Believe me, he will eat them at some point.

Are these mealworms or superworms and whats the difference. Im new to all of this sorry..

Okay cut mealworms out of his diet completely. Persist with feeding what healthy feeders you have. Believe me, he will eat them at some point.

He usually eats from my hand but he acts like hes scared from these bugs so I just placed them in the cup so I think eventually he will realise thats the only option if he wants to eat something. Am I right?

You could try Super worms . Do you have access to silk worms or Bsf ??

Those are Super worms . Meal worms a much smaller .

Yes those are super worms . Silk worms would be the best choice , There a great staple . If you cannot get them locally you can order them .

There ok for every few feedings or a treat . I would not feed daily as a staple .

Crickets
Silk worms
Bsf , as well as easiest to find . There’s other good staples but not as easy to get .
Treats would be wax worms , super worms , horn worms .
