Chameleon Info:

Your Chameleon - Ambanja Panther Chameleon, Male, about 4.5 months old.

Handling - I occasionally take him outside for basking.

Feeding - So here's my issue. He has erratic preferences and gets bored extremely quickly. I have tried feeding him Hornworms (no take at all) Silkworms (very little take) Pheonix worms (large take for awhile but now he is not eating them) Dubias (large take for three days) Crickets (very little take) and this week I will try to brek his strike with house flies. He has a history of strikes and trouble eating.

Supplements - Calcium with D3 every day, without twice a month, and multivitamin twice a month

Watering - Pump mist 2x a day, only seen him drink once but he does not seem dehydrated.

Fecal Description - I have not seen a fresh dropping in a little while, but looks normal for the most part.

History - History of not eating well.
Cage Info:
Cage Type - Nat geo reptile sanctuary, vertical, 16x16x24, but I will be moving him to a 2'x2'x4' this week because of easier drainage.

Lighting - 50w basking bulb and reptisun 5.0 tube. Will up the lighting in the bigger cage.
Temperature - 90 degrees in basking is the highest, more like 88/87, ambient around 70-72.
Humidity - Usually around 60, done with pump mister.

Placement - In my bedroom, pretty low traffic
Location - Scarsdale, NY

Current Problem - he hasn't grown since I've had him, only shed once that I know of. He also hasn't really gotten any more color, probably because of the lack of shedding. Im also worried about his eating. I hope the house flies break his strike.

I agree completely with Jannb's advice.
You most often will not see parasites but the health damage they can do is very real.

Is this really how you are dusting ? " Calcium with D3 every day, without twice a month"

If it is, then there is a big part of, if not all of your cham's problem.
Too much D3 is very bad and daily D3 is 13x the D3 dustings your cham should be getting.
He should receive D3 2x a month and calcium without D3 daily

OMG. No, I meant without d3 every day, and with d3 twice a month. total typo. He has had a fecal before, in early august, and came back negative.

Is that the cage with part glass and part screen top? If so is the UVB on the screen or only the glass?

Are you free ranging his food or cup feeding him?

So how long have you had him?

Looking back at his old post, he got him in mid July and been having problems getting him to eat since he got him.

I had the same problem with Cooper when he was little and I beileve he was dehydrated. Does your little guy have a drip cup? Try giving him a drip cup misting him for longer periods of time.

Ok I will give him a dripper. It is the cage with the screen on tinge side and top, I have the UVB going through the screen. I will be switching him in a couple of days to an all screen cage.

I agree that he needs more water. I water all of my chams 4x a day for 3 minutes at a time. I also think that the flies will get him eating. My chams ALL go crazy for them. I have never had one that could resist them for more than a few minutes. Pics of him and his cage would also help us.

here are some pics

I would bump his misting up as stated. I have my mist king going off every two hours for two minutes. Baby or small chams can get dehydrated easily and need frequent short mistings. Now that he's about 5.5 months old I'm going to spread his misting out and extented them (something like 3-4 misting a day for 4 minutes or so)

Are you feeding everyday?. My cham was doing same but now i just feed every other day and he eats everything. Right now i feed him 5 dubias and 1 superworm and he eats them all
