Not Sure What is Going On?

I had my young veiled in a ficus, no cage for the first month i had him. I just built him a cage and have the same ficus in his new home. But when he didn't have a cage i could come up and look at him no problem. Now that he is in his cage anytime i even look at him he runs and hides. What is going on?

well. i'm guessing he felt he's in a new place and starting to get used to it.
so, he's super timid.. give him time to adjust

its been about four days now and still every time i am even near Romeo's cage he runs and hides. Anyone have some idea as to when he will calm down? Once again, he was not like this at all before i put him in his cage...

Mines been in his new cage for a few months now and is still scared to death of me. I'm guessing he'll always be that way.

Ya, i could see that happening to Romeo as well. It just sucks that he changed when i put him in the cage, i thought he would have felt a little more safe if anything..

mine took about a week... it depends on your guy's personality..
some took a day.. some a week or months...
but he will learn that whenever you come it's usually means water and yummy foods...
so, he'll get used to you sooner or later.
don't worry about it.
