Can i use oatmeal for my superworms to crawl over, it has no sugar but it has sodium so idk if that alright. Just plain old oats

I feed all the supers fruits and veggies, then the night before I'm going to feed my guy I pull out the feeder and gutload in a seperate container. Jann

so is that all i would need oatmeal for substrate and veggies for their food nothing elce ?

and when i want to feed them to my chameleon i feed them gutload for 24 hrs

i feel like there is more i need to do for them

anyone have any suggestions ?

My superworms (I call them kingworms) live in small bins with Oatmeal, Bran and finely ground dried Alphalpha to crawl around in, which they also eat, and I add veggies and fruit, coconut, sunflowerseeds, dead (natural causes) crickets and stick bugs, etc.

Kingworms dont make up a large part of my chameleons diet, as I didnt think of them as particularily nutritious. I admit I've never thought of feeding them anything differently as a gut load prior to their being fed to the chams. It seemed to me, perhaps incorrectly, that what they eat most of the time is gut load enough.

What in particular are people providing as a gut load for these worms?
