Oh no!! What did I do!!!!

Cainschams

New Member
Well Ill start out by saying I ran into some extra cash recently. I have been dying to get some more chams. A while back I saw 2 graceful chams at my local pet store. I wanted them so bad but didnt have the space or money. These were absolutly beautiful and seemed like they had great personality. Well I just ordered a pair oh and a pair of tavetanum for I have always liked the fischers also. I ordered them from LLL reptile. I know the troubles of what comes when you dont see the cham itself before purchase and the possibilty of even more trouble with WC specimen. Obviously I am willing to except the fate that comes with the territory. I did this because I want to broaden my husbandry and experiences with different chams besides the normal panther and veiled. Also experience with WC, acclimating, and parasites. I also have recently disowned my one vet and have another in mind. They have a great site and look like a really great facility. Eastern Exotic Veterinary Center in Fairfax Virginia if anyone has a comment. Once I recieve my new chams I am going to take all my chams in for fecals and checkups. This will let me get to know the vets and how they operate.

Any comments are welcome and if anyone has any links for the two please post them. I do plan on breeding them if all goes well so if you have any personal experience or suggestions please feel free to post. I have yet to find any incubation techniques.

good luck.

alls i have to say is that i think the reptile house that i go to gets their
chams from LLL. i say this because they just got some graceful, fishers,
werners, flapnecks and some leaf chameleons, and the only way they can
make profit is if they get them from there. they are selling them for like 44, or the leafs
for 2 for 40.they used to say they get their panthers from the kammers
but they sell their panthers for 200-225 and i dont see how they can
make any money.

what i can say about the ones i seen was they looked ok, not too
dehydrated.
the flapnecks looked really nice, but one of them looked gravid being all
black with yellow and green spots. sitting on the ground also.

the gracefuls they had looked really nice, so good luck with them.
i never seen one of them upclose but they were nice and fat.
give us pics when you get them.
