Oil diffusing?

Hello everyone I just recently bought my oil diffuser. I have read both good and bad things about using these. But not sure what is the truth. My diffuser is 6 feet away from my chameleons cage. He doesn't seem to be bothered by the blend of oils i put in there everyday. Is there a chance it could be affecting my little guy that I don't know about? He is expressing all normal behavior and eating habits.

You are basically vaping, only not filtering out any of the smoke through your lungs.

Id advise against it. If anything , dont run it in the same room, let alone 6ft from the little guy.

My question is why? Why use a diffuser at all? And why submit your chameleon to such an unnatural irritant. Your basically diffusing snake oil, which is just another name for BS.

Well its certainly not beneficial for your cham in anyway... so why would you risk using it close to him at all..?

In addition to inhaling the oils and volatile dispersal chemicals, the residue is getting all over his cage and his plants....contaminating the surfaces he has to drink off of. Very very bad idea to use one in the same room as a cham.

Are you running this to deal with cricket or other bug odors? If so cleaning your bug containers often and placing open baking soda boxes around the room is a better alternative.
Chameleons have more delicate respiratory systems than most mammals.
