congrats man! jacksons are kinda nice like that... they do the incubation work and you get instant babies! hahaha. I have a male.... I should get a female to give this a whirl!

Update

not only did i not know she was pregnant but 3 more counts find 8 not 7 babies. mom is doing well and babies must be eating based on the number of fruitflies i have put in the cage

Keep us updated

But remember fruitflies do disappear on their own... keep a bit of fruit on a flat dish and they flies will stay central.

Unfortunately this will happen with the Jacksons. They have a high mortality rate.

Here is my recommendation -

Separate them in to smaller groups based on size and continue to separate them as they grow.

Put them in tubs with a paper towel in the bottom and some fake vines or fake ivy for them to climb on. Mist the container to keep it really humid.

Provide them with another form of food. Pin Heads gut loaded and dust them with cal.

I also want to stress that you should continue to separate them by sex and size as much as possible. You are not out of the water until months into their lives. They have the best chance of survival the more isolated they are.

Also Fruit Flies are not enough for them. Gut loaded Pin Heads will provide a little more nutrition!

Also use caution when misting , not to mist directly on them . Not sure if that was covered.

My experience with jax babies is as soon as I placed them outside to the real sunlight it made a huge difference, they started to eat way better, more active ad more healthy, for some reason as babies they really benefit from natural uv light, however not always an option, specially if you are getting some chilly weather now.

I never did Jacksons, but I guess all babies need a bit more leaves than that in the enclosure. Just so they catch the water and give the babies a chance to drink from it. Anyways congratulations, they are so cute! I would love to have a surprise like that.
