Our new friend

We picked up a new friend this past weekend. He/she is settling in well. Eating like a champ! Not the best pic, but I didn't want to bother it too much.
We are guessing it to be about 3months old. We are newer to monitors but experienced with reptiles. Would love some tips or info on keeping these guys.

I made a hide box with a basking spot, also a little hide under the left side... here is the setup.

Good looking monitor and nice setup.
Was wondering if the hide is diy or store brought? Looks wonderful, could use something like that for my gecko
