Ousties...getting bigger

Thought i would try out the new "cell phone" cam (see how thoughtful I am..even Americanised the text )..So out came my pair of Ousties..checking the growth rate..the male is like some kind of weed..he looks bigger everyday..

This was him 16 weeks ago..4/1/10

and this is him now.........

Considerable difference...

Here he is..VENTURING FORTH IN THE FOREST OF DEADLY ARM HAIR!! FEARING NOT A JOT!

He is now the same size as my female...she was originally twice his size. yet a week younger..but whilst her growth rate is steady. his has increased..

here is his future love interest. taken today.

and this is her..also today, watching SPIDERMAN 2. ON CABLE

They are great! Dont know what it is about Ousties. but they just seem to have so much personality..funny as anything when it comes to feeding time...and talk about fast!! MALE / LOCUSTS = HOMER SIMPSON / DONUTS
and really really long tongues!!

Nice! The females always remind me of mint chocolate chip ice cream when they wear that coloration. (Don't know why I think that's a cool feature in a reptile, but I do.)

You should name him Chip, then you have Minty and Chip = Mint Chip lol
