Outdoor cage setup

its been a while since i had my last jackson chameleon since my dog ruined it.
now im starting from scratch again this time im only planning to house 1 male in a hanging cage on a plumeria tree. since i live in hawaii and they live wild, do i need to watch humidity levels and lighting like i did when i kept them on my patio(all day shade and rare wind)? ill post pics in a day or two.

Since he will be housed in a cage and can not get away from the elements I would for sure keep a close eye on the heat.
