Outdoor Enclosure Today

Had big boy in his outdoor enclosure today. Its starting to fill in nicely and it was a perfect day for him. Its dimensions are 4x4x4 I built it about ten years ago and still going strong. My next one will be 8x8x8 for this guy. He has shade but was taking the sun for a long time today. It was to sunny for pictures but oh well.

well i think when i have mine built im going to have it put on wheels so i can take it in and out, but what a cool cage

Its to big wont fit through a door and it was built to be outside all year round and has gone through ten N.Y. winters.

Beautiful Cham Dean... I dream of the day I will be able to keep one of those guys... He is amazing... I bet he loves it in there.

what kind of plants do you have growing in there? I like how they are vining into the cage.

The vine is natural comes back every year and it gets a little flower in the spring which attracts insects. I have some potted plants in there also. The only problem is his time outside is limited due to temperature and humidity levels I have to pick his days wisely.

Beautiul cham. What species? Where in LI are you? I'm in Suffolk. Currently cham-less - in case you didnt see the post last week, I took him out to bask without a cage and carelessly went in for a sandwhich ( forgot I took him out ) and he's now in the trees somewhere around my house. Still havent found him. If I dont soon, I'd like to replace him and also to build an outdoor enclosure to be smarter. Do you have a build thread ?

I could always send you plans, Its very easy but being out door material it can get heavy. Orange eye parsonii. I also live in Suffolk, Don't give up on that chameleon I lost one in the summer and found it in the fall.
