Chloe had her first outdoor experience today and she seemed to love it. I put her on a hanging ivy I have on my balcony but really want to either get a smaller Reptibreeze cage for her or make my own. I have a small balcony for now, so thinking a smaller cage would be better?? Any suggestions?

See, that's what I'm not sure about. I was thinking smaller since it's for a few hours a day? One I was looking at is 16x16x20. what do you think? My balcony's not that big but of course I'd make room for her! I have several fruits and veggies plants out there now

I think I'm gonna have to move some plants around to make room for queen B here...which I don't mind at all. She seemed to love the sunshine

I think that would be ok for a few hours a day. Better than letting her
free range outside IMHO safer too.
Exactly my concern. I put her on my hanging ivy and she crept around, ate a bug, did not want to come back in. Made me so nervous to just let her free range though, as much as she seemed to love it. I want to get a seperate cage all set up with vines and whatnot, plants, so she can get some sun

I just carry my.indoor cage outside. :p but it's pretty close to the backdoor.

I would like to make one for outside soon too.

I have heard of members here using those mesh laundry basket/ bag things.

Chloe got all tangled up in this ivy, she loved it as much as I do! Even ate a random bug! Didn't even see what it was, but she loves it, lol!!

If you can afford a large 2x2x4 get that or if u are somewhat handy or know someone who can cut wood and screw some wood together its pretty easy to make a cage and a lot cheaper

I could just carry her cage outside @KapitalJ, that would be easier! I've thought about that. I'm tempted to try my hand at making an outdoor cage for her, it's in the works in my little mind....(y)

Home Depot has screen repair kits and do it yourself window screen. Get 4 or 5 packs, some small metal screws and go for it. I did. Dont forget to buy the little pushy down deal to get that rubber pushed all the way in. I had to go back for one
