Nope just ziptied it on. I spent hours applying zip ties lol. Definitely use the heavy duty uv resistant or they'll break fast. The one mistake I made was not covering the area where the cloth overlapped. My cham got his toes stuck and tore some skin off. So keep on the look out for that. My guy lives out there several months of the year though, if yours isn't staying out over night you don't have to worry as much as long as birds can't get him(we have hawk's everywhere here).
