outdoors

so. we are kind of excited bc we talked to our housing office and hopfully next spring we will be transferring from our apt just down the road to a new apt building. the reason is because the other buildings come with outside decks. so we were thinking about keeping the chameleons outside (in their individual cages). my only thing is that we live in PA and obviously we wouldnt keep them out there year round or even on spring nights when its cold. we will have the mister for the hot days and even the top story apts have a roof over the deck. my main concern is the rain. it rains alot here. or at least in my opinion bc i just moved here last year. it worries me. i dont feel like its a good idea to leave them in the rain. like today for example it rained for hours and hours on end and it will contenue to rain for a few more days. then it will be dry for a day or so and start up again (at least thats how its been lately)... opinions? suggestions?
