Panther and pygmy questions

I have a few questions about panthers and pygmys because I may be getting one of them soon.
Pygmys
1. How often do I dust the feeders.
2. What is so difficult about them all I think u need to do is spray feed dust and clean there cages?

Panthers
1. Male or female? Which is more active and interesting
2. Could I keep an adult in a 18x18x36 or a 22x18.5x36 or a 20x19x40

For panthers the males are more active and more colorful. They're also a little easier to manage since you don't need a laying box.
