Hello I recently purchased a male panther from chameleonparadise.net and had him for a day now he is 5 months old. He is eating, pooping, and drinking. I noticed him drooling right as I was misting him today. Is this normal or do I need to be concerned?

Sometimes it can be an indication of a respiratory infection but it can also happen if they get too much water in the mouth.

If the cham is drooling strings of clear saliva while it's actively drinking, as already said, could just be excess water in its mouth. I've also seen this in dehydrated chams that are really gulping down the water a bit more quickly than it can swallow.

Yes it hasn't happened anymore I think he was just really thirsty from being shipped in tubber ware in a box

Mine did this for like two days after I got him. He's doing amazing :) Sounds like it's nothing to be concerned about. Bruce has some amazing Chameleons!
