Hi so I keep multiple veiled and Panther chameleons and they are okay, my girlfriend also 2 panthers which when I came over today they aren’t looking too good. One is a male and one is female. Both about 7-9 months old. The female was asleep during the day which I know is never good, we then got her out and she woke up and was acting fine but her eyes were weird and one was sunken in and the other had a yellow film over it. We managed to remove the yellow film with a wet Q-tip and it looks normalish now, she’s acting find and moving around and she ate. However the male is not as good, he also had the film over one of his eyes and his eyes were looking a little odd as well. We then tried to remove the film the same way and he was not happy about it and then randomly decided to not use the back half of his body. His back legs and tail won’t move for some reason now and his anal glands/hemipenis area are exposed and have been for about 30 min now. He also pooped when this happened. I have no idea what’s going on as i have never seen anything like this before and ive taken care of Chams for a while now with no issues. Im assuming it was a husbandry thing that caused this because she said she only gives them calcium once a week and barely ever gives D3 or multi vitamin Although she feeds and waters them the correct way. Regardless of how it happened I’m trying to get some quick answers to know if we need to take either of them to the vet. I think the female is okay as she is acting normal now other than her eyes look a little weird but the male is not acting right at all. Thanks.
