Panther chameleon will only poo when I hold him

Hi, got a bit of a strange one. My panther chameleon will only poo after or while being held. I've had a busy week at work and I've not had him out much and realised I've not pick any poo out his viv. I got him out within 5 mins he pooed so I've been monitoring this if I get him out every two days he'll poo within 5 mins if he's out everyday it's about 10 to 15 but if I leave him 3 days he poos within the first few mins an it's huge. If I take him out for a quick hello when he goes back in he poo's but this is the only time he poo's in his viv. Anyone had this problem or is my chameleon weird haha

I've ordered an new viv it will be here in a few weeks, see if that helps. I only get him out if he wants to come out, I open viv and he jumps onto my hand. He always happy to see me
