These panther eggs are about 6.5 months (9/8/2011). I had 2 eggs shrink on me. Do they look OK?

They look fine. Get rid of the dead ones if you start to see fungus. Be patient another couple of months or so. What locale panther?

the sweating egg could be a premature hathure and if he is he might not make it just, if i were you i would set up the baby cage and get food just in case you got a week newborn on your hands:eek: hope all goes well and you dont have a premature:)

Any chance you could take a picture of an egg next to a coin for a size reference. I agree that they could be early hatchers. Good luck

The sweaty egg from above is at the 55" mark.

Hi, I am new at this, but am in the same situation as you...except a month ahead. I just had my first hatchling two days ago...amazing little creatures.

Wow, you have a huge clutch for panthers. My gal gave me 24, and she was busting at the seams. Four of those eggs molded over the last few months. Of the 20 left, one has hatched, one is currently hatching, and a couple are sweating. I was expecting things to happen in a month or two...but I guess they're ready now. Once they start sweating, it seems that they reduce in size substantially, so don't toss the egg until you see it molding. I'll post some pics for comparison so you can see mine, which I know are hatching. Uploading pics to PhotoBucket now...

OK...here is my clutch. The one in the process of hatching is in the lower right. It is considerably smaller than the others.

Here is a closer look at the egg about to hatch, compared to the egg next to it.

Here's a pic of one of my other eggs sweating.

Slightly different angle...hard to see the "sweat"

I hope the pictures help you assess your situation. Now I need to start a thread with my own questions...lol

7 months. Some don't look good, some look close.

A hole opened up in an egg that i thought was going bad. I'm not sure what to do with it.

I couldn't stand the anticipation and cut open what I thought were two bad eggs. They both had dried yolk in them. I didn't see any lizard parts.

Looks like the baby is coming out butt first. Watch it so it doesn't smother and make sure it comes out out soon.
