The orange urinate tells you that he is dehydrated.
The darker the urinate the more dehydrated he is and this looks very dark so you should have a close look at how much he drinks.
Do you have a dripper?

Hi thanks for your quick replies, yes he has a dripper about one drip every three seconds onto a ficus plant, hes eating very well and has been very active tonight, ive have been spraying three times a day soaking all the plants vines and him. We only got him home from the pet shop saturday afternoon so he was stressed for the first day not moving and hiding in the corner alot, will he start drinking the more he settles in, or have i got to make him drink somehow?

That's probably poop he should have left in the store where he didn't get enough water. I'm sure the urates will get increasingly white over the next couple of days.

And, by the way, welcome!

Hi and thank you im a little less concerned now, but i will be spraying him extra in the morning

If you still have the orange urate after a while, hornworms are a great hydrator. I have a problem male that is 3.5 years old that is not as easy to hydrate and I inject feeders with water as well as feed hornworms and silkworms regularily. He is a special case so hopefully you do not have to take the extra precaution. I thought the hornworms was worth mentioning. The quicker you get him well hydrated the better since it can be bad for their kidneys to go for very long in that state. Good luck!

Thanks reptoman, its a great pointer that i will certainly look to if need be in the future. Im looking to use a very wide range of feeders so adding these, if i can obtain them will be useful,
thanks again
