Quality Snakes

New Member
Hiya, I'm new here.
I got this male a month ago, sold as picasso, but I don't think he's a picasso at all!
I got him along with a sibling female, they're growing fast and he's putting up more and more colours everyday
first 2 pics are form a week ago, last 2 are from today:

any clues?

With all the blue coming in he kinda looks like an Ambanja maybe. But I see some orange around his eyes and other places. Ambilobe?

Those are my 2 guesses, but I'm no expert. He's beautiful though, especially in the 3rd picture.

Picassos generally have blue barring. From what I have heard a Picasso is a blue bar Ambilobe with red speckling in his barring. So, he could be a Picasso or as Julirs said, could be a Nosy Be X Ambilobe. When you cross Nosy Be with other locales they get red speckling...and that too is a trait of Ambilobe.

If you breeder is a well know, respected breeder I would go with what he says.

Chris
