I have a friend in new York who recently just hatched more parsons eggs I am going to try to get him on here to talk about his care, etc. H
The only thing he told me that I found interesting really was that his eggs have never taken longer than 18 months to hatch and that his parsons seem to breed during the rain storm season here in the tri state
Area around July-august. He also keeps his eggs cold like in the super high 40's and gradually raises them to the super low 70's once they hit the 15 month mark.

Is this his first succesful clutch or has he had succesful clutches hatch in the past? Also does he ever release any offspring to the public?

I hope those are real CB hatchlings you were informed about. It's really strange that many parsonii "breeders" dont share informations. Here in Europe "many" persons selling "CB" parsoniis but only a small minority has some pictures and seems to be honest.

Absolutely agreed, i wouldn´t trust anyone before i saw the parents, things you need to incubate the eggs, pictures of the clutch and the hatchlings shortly after they hatched.

I've seen very exp keepers try to breed parsons and so far I haven't seen anyone have much success. That's why it would be a coup to finally see someone who's hatched multiple clutches in captivity. Hopefully this guy will step forward with some husbandry tips.

We´ll see. We have one guy in Germany who successfully breeds them every year.
But success varies a lot, i think 2008 he had 20 hatchlings, 2009 only 2.

Bs means bull sh**.
In other words, if I say its BS that he has parson eggs (Just an example, I don't think that), im saying that its not true.

I think anyone attempting this feat, whould have reasons not to disclose their methods. I do argee that parson's popping up by the dozen are "le berry" in nature.
