Permanent lay bed and Plant Questions

Since our Panther Chameleon is always seeming to lay eggs we have decided to put a permanent lay bed in her enclosure

Have a few questions

1.Is this a bad idea?

2.Is this plant safe, think its a Pothos but not sure

Thanks

It's fine and plant is pothos- safe.
I sometimes do the same with my panthers- they seem to prefer to lay around plant roots so I use 17" pots for their plants. The big thing to watch out for is the roots becoming too thick in time, so the female can't find a spot to dig. To prevent this, pull up your plant a couple times a year and clip the roots back and then repot in fresh dirt- good for the plant and keeps the lay site clean.

It looks like a satin Pothos which is like golden but with white marks not yellow so it's perfectly safe and I highly recommended chameleon plant.
