Pete the Nosy Mitsio

Here are a few pics of my Nosy Mitsio, Pete. He is pretty chill for the most part... or at least until his nemesis, my camera, enters his enclosure...
He's displaying his usual green in the first pic...
Then he starts showing the red eye of death to the camera in the second pic...
And by the third pic, he's getting good and fired up...
Anyway, I figured I'd give him some love on the forums.

I selected him out of a shipment of wild-caught Mitsios. He had a nice green color at the time, but he's really matured into a pretty chameleon, better than I expected. He has a great personality for a wild-caught as well, very calm unless the camera is around... for whatever reason he really really hates my camera, lol.
Reputable and healthy shipments of wild-caught Mitsios are very hard to come by and I was lucky to get access to the shipment when I did (before they were all picked over). If I hear of another shipment, I'll post something on the forums and PM you, but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for it... it could be a year or longer.
I plan to breed Pete, so I should have babies available at some point, but it'll be awhile on that as well since I haven't started yet and the eggs take forever and a day to finally hatch.

That would be great! I'd be more interested in the babies though. Could you message me once you figure out what prices you'll be charging for them.? :)

Thats a beautifull animal! I so wish there were more of them around. Thank you for sharing, please continue to do so...

By far my favorite locale, if only they were not so hard to come by :( On the other hand your boy is stunning! Love that red eye of death:p
