Phoenix Worms becoming flies

We have some phoenix worms that are now becoming flies. Has anyone ever fed the flies to their cham? Are they still good for them to eat? I know it may sound like a dumb question, but you never know. I went on the phoenix worm website and didn't see any info about whether they can still be used once they become flies or not.

Woops, forgot I could do a search right on the site, oh well.

It seems like a couple people said they are fine, but someone mentioned they have stingers. Not so sure how I feel about that. Has anyone ever had their cham get stung by one?

they dont have stingers, they mimik the wasp in order to scare off predators

they are ok to feed
