Phoenix worms ok?

I bought some phoenix worms today to give some variety. They are about 1/4 - 5/8 inch long. Any thoughts on this feeder?

I've heard they help the reptiles grow 25% faster because of their calcium and protein level. They are pretty good though.

hey i dont know about feeding it to bigger chams but ive feed it to pygmies and they have seem to like it. i have heard that reptiles have a hard time digesting it so i just poke a hole in it then feed it for better digesting.

How do they have a hard time digesting it? They don't have a shell or anything?

My chams like them and I feed them every now and then. They are very good for them and I've never had a problem. Jann

Where do you get Phoenix worms? If they're good for chams.. well my cham needs more variety.

i think mulberry farms has some. ive also seen them at petco and other pet stores i think one of the sponsers georgia bugs has some to.also they are pretty small so i dont know if a adult cham would eat them but babys and juvies seem to like them.

I got some of these at the local reptile show this weekend. Norman loves them.

I put them on a small lid and hold it and he snaps them up. Closest I can get to hand feeding :)

you can also order them direct from pheonixworms.com My chams, beardeds, and leos all love these worms. I feed the baby veileds and panthers them in a cup and they just love them. I have never seen any issues with digestion problems in mine, but I guess it could be possible.

Also I should add, I have seen pheonix worms being sold in petsmarts now. You could check them out too. They only seem to carry one sixe though. Not all the petsmarts carry them though so you may want ot call to check....
