I have been feeding my baby chameleon mainly crickets and mealworms...I know mealworms arent the best but hes been doing ok with them so far.

I usually put both mealworms and crickets in the bowl and lately hes just been eating all the mealworms....He use to eat both

What should i do?

don't give him mealworms.
put just crickets.
he'll eat them when he's hungry enough.
I suggest finding a better alternative such as silkworn, hornworm, supers, butterworm, etc
you can get them at mulberryfarms.com

Will do that...doing it right now

Is it bad if he just eats mealworms?
Why is he doing this.

the real reason is of course idk.
but, if one have to speculate, he probably just bored with crickets and ready to try new food item.
Mealworms have a high chitin content.
chitin is good in moderation. Too much, you risk an impaction.
If you have freshly molted mealworms (white color), feed him those instead.
