Here is a pic showing some Nosy Faly Variety. Both full brothers.

The variety appears to be in there color patters but not the color it's self. They definitely look related. Oh and stunning too.

Ill take the one on the bottom from ya :p

I'm sure you would ;). Actually they are both awesome the one on the bottom has obviously a ton of white but I kept him because he had almost no red in his body and instead it's almost all confined to his barring. The one on the top has red everywhere and a TON of it!!

Curt
That's sorta my point ;). There is variety but due to incredibly low genetic diversity on this tiny island the color palate is pretty much fixed. More or less white, sure more or less red, sure the blue is always rooted in green and can range from sea foam green to turquoise, but not royal blue.

True on most but not all look at Poseidon he is a wc 100% pure nosy faly with super royal blue. No rooted sea foam green to turquoise what so ever only very dark pale blue to really bright royal blue.

I have better photos to prove my point with the blue but photbuckets acting up on me

Maybe I didn't describe the coloration correctly, must not be channeling my inner designer :D. He definitely shows that bluer end of the Faly "blue" spectrum but still in that range I was talking about

Maybe close to turquoise but more baby blue when sleeping. but fired and normal just running around colors no were near that part of the spectrum he is royal deep dark blue not a sign or drop or shade of green anywhere

So when you look at other members photo albums.Like Todnedo's for example. Some are blue, some have that jewel green.. My last Faly was CH and had more had more green the my Current CB Triton/Kush male that has more blue and green. One thing they do all seem to have is RedRain. Then look at Nosybe's around the Forums. Some are blue some darker green. The blue is the desired color. And there also from a island.Enough with the Drama, if yours all sell?great for you. But that doesn't mean your are any better than others like Chucks,Todnedo,or Robs (other proven lines)Its what the individual buying the chameleon is looking for..example:my alpha male ambilobe's from each clutch fetch a higher price then the other boys... That being said you have beautiful Faly!

I don't see any royal blue in the Texas's photos. I see the range you were talking about in those pics.
to me, royal blue is a deep dark blue, towards a hint of purple and away from green.

I don't know how old anyone else on this forum is, but I know I'm not one of the youngest members. Interestingly, Ive noticed that over the years the definition for Royal Blue has moved away from the deep colour originally defined and used on garments for royalty. My young nieces use the term Royal Blue when they just mean standard mid blue, which is brighter than the traditional royal blue. Its just one small change amongst a million language changes in only the last few decades.
hearing language evolve /change in your own lifetime is weird.

Curt I'm not bashing anyone's "lines". I am talking specifically about the locale I have chosen to work with. I think I have credibility to do so. I wish that every time anyone wants to talk about Nosy Faly someone wouldn't pull the discussion down to drama. Stop the drama! We don't need it. Believe me I am much less worried about selling my stuff and more concerned with the preservation of a locale I love. I have probably invested 15k into this locale and it's preservation and not to make money. I own a very successful practice and that business makes the money.

Take what I said at face value. Nothing I said was really controversial. When you have falys crossed with ambanja you tend to get purplish deep blue barring, when crosses with Nosy Be you get a huge decrease in white and rain. But honestly look at WC Nosy Be's they tend to be greener/yellower with lots of red in the face and eyes.

I have never seen a Faly with ANY royal blue as well. My Ambanja has royal blue bars with absolutely NO red to enhance the blue/purple coloring!! This is what royal blue looks to me.

Ok I guess my vision on blue is different as others are different either way no drama man I am just as tired of it as you I was just showing poseidon is BLUE not any GREEN. But anyways man great looking falys and if anything I said was token argumentative or drama I am sorry that's not what my post was about.

Falys haven't been at the top of my list due to the endless amount of drama, but all of these pics are awesome. I may decide to jump in on them at some point. :) Keep up the great work, y'all!

When I think of demonstrating variety in the local. I think of compairing CB to a WC at the same age. Or compairing WC's to each other.Maybe we can get some owners of WC faly to start a thread to compair them to each other.
